✨ A framing project with a very special story behind it.
We were delighted to create this bespoke piece for the grandson of Joseph Cox, who founded The Joseph Cox Charity in 1963 to support vulnerable people in Manchester.
Our customer’s late father, John Cox, continued the valuable work started by his own father, dedicating decades to supporting homeless and vulnerable people. His commitment was recognised with a Papal Knighthood – a Knight of the Order of St Gregory the Great (Commander with Star), as well as an MBE.
We were asked to bring together John’s medals, honours and certificates, creating a fitting display of his achievements and the important work to which he dedicated so much of his life.
The collection includes honours from King Charles III and Pope Benedict XVI, alongside John’s medals and decorations. Each piece was carefully arranged and individually mounted before being finished in a beautiful champagne-coloured frame. ✨
More than simply a piece of bespoke framing, this creates a lasting memory of our customer’s late father and his dedication to such a worthwhile cause, while preserving a remarkable family story and the legacy passed down through three generations.
