I’ll be exhibiting at the Craft in Focus Contemporary Craft Fair at Hever Castle & Gardens from 10th–13th September.
Around 180 artists and makers will be exhibiting, all in the rather wonderful setting of Hever Castle.

Some highlights from a thoroughly enjoyable week on one of my 5 day animal modelling courses. A great week of making, learning,plenty of laughs, and some fantastic work produced along the way. Thank you to everyone who came along and made it just an enjoyable week.

Looking forward to Potfest in the Park next week.
The original Potfest flagship event brings together 90 selected ceramic artists from across the UK, Europe and beyond, each with their own distinctive style and approach.
Set in the magnificent surroundings of Hutton-in-the-Forest, on the edge of the beautiful Lake District National Park, it’s one of my favourite events of the year.

To celebrate the UK’s National Year of Reading, the theme for this year’s Potfest exhibitors’ competition is Penguin 100 Must-Read Classics.
I chose Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I work just around the corner from Jane Austen’s House in Chawton and, although I have never actually read the book, I have watched both the film adaptation and the BBC version many times. I’ve also visited Chawton on numerous occasions—or, to be more accurate, I’ve admired the house from the pub across the road!
Given my connection to the village and my fondness for the story’s screen adaptations, Pride and Prejudice seemed a perfect choice for this year’s theme.
This will be heading to Scone Palace, Perth, Scotland 12th 13th & 14th June along with a van full or animals co.uk
