Mamma Andersson plays with textures, highlighting the tactile qualities of prints. In her studio, a rich image archive collected over many years forms the foundation for most of the artist’s works of landscapes, still lifes and figures. Andersson’s preoccupation with the materiality of printmaking invites the viewer to experience a rich combination of unexpected textures, colours, and their physical peculiarities.

It’s the final days to see Mamma Andersson’s show at David Zwirner in Paris, featuring the artist’s works on paper—including prints from BORCH Editions.

Visit Københavns Kunsthandel this week to catch their exhibition ‘Dreamy Etchings’, presenting a selection of prints from BORCH Editions’ collection.

Prints from Iñaki Bonillas’ series ‘A Storm of Secondary Things’ are on view. In this photogravure series, Bonillas addresses “secondariness” by extracting scenes from the overlooked backgrounds of photographs in his grandfather’s collection. By questioning the editing of the world that we all constantly perform, Bonillas’ photogravure works evoke the complex relationship between reality and memory, as well as the power of the image.

Jakob Kolding’s exhibition ‘Someone breaks into a house and lives there as long as possible’ (Danish: En eller anden bryder ind i et hus og bor der så længe som muligt) takes its title from a line in the poem ‘Det’ from 1969 by Inger Christensen. The exhibition centres on questions of representation, ownership and access in relation to architecture and urban spaces. In his new series of photogravures, Memories of the Future: Educational Complex I–IV (2026), Kolding reflects on the relationship between past utopian visions and future possibilities.

Jakob Kolding highlights the influence of architecture in shaping our lives and the tension between dreams of the future and our lived reality.

A very large proportion of the buildings in Denmark date from the 1960s, a period when the Danish welfare society was undergoing rapid development. Jakob Kolding’s series of photogravures is based on images of architectural models from that period, originally published in the Danish magazines Arkitekten and Arkitektur. The models embody past ideas about the society of the future—visions and utopias that, as the artist describes them, seem both futuristic and nostalgic today.

The prints will be on view at as part of Jakob Kolding’s exhibition ‘Someone breaks into a house and lives there as long as possible’
Opening tonight!

Tal R, Adidas Boy, 2020, woodcut
Series of 24

The imagery in Tal R’s Adidas Boy woodcut suite relates to the artist’s bronze and plaster sculptures. Revisiting his own motifs for a printmaking project is a familiar working method for Tal R. In Adidas Boy, he depicts figures from his milieu, sketched in white lines against monochrome backgrounds that accentuate the wood grain of the blocks he was working on.
