A highlight from our 20-year anniversary exhibition, Erik A. Frandsen’s Tulips in a Uranium Vase in Front of an Antique Depiction of Odysseus Bound to the Mast brings together still life painting and classical mythology in a richly layered composition.

The vivid red tulips and glowing uranium vase emerge against a darker, dramatic backdrop, where the image of Odysseus bound to the mast introduces themes of longing, temptation, and endurance. Frandsen allows the intimate language of flowers and interiors to intersect with larger narratives drawn from history and myth.

Balancing beauty with tension, the work reflects Frandsen’s distinctive ability to merge the sensual and the symbolic — creating paintings that feel both immediate and timeless.

Today we are celebrating our 20th anniversary. We are looking forward to welcoming you all to the gallery for the opening and reception today from 2-5 pm.

The exhibition All that stays. All that moves is featuring 20 artist that has been forming the gallerys profile during the years.

Charlotte Fogh Gallery præsenterer soloudstillingen Øjet ser – Blomsten er død af Kathrine Ærtebjerg. Udstillingen består af nye malerier samt en stop-motion animation med musik, komponeret af kunstneren selv og fremført af pianist Johanna Borchert.

Aktuelt og frem til 21. februar viser Charlotte Fogh Gallery årets vinterudstilling, som viser værker af galleriets kunstnere.

Udstillingen skaber bevidste sammenstød mellem genrer og udtryk, der på den ene side giver indblik de udstillede kunstneres forskelligartede praksisser, men på den anden side giver mulighed for, at nye forbindelser kan opstå mellem værkerne. Værkerne skiftes løbende, så udstillingen vil være i forandring i hele udstillingsperioden.
