White Cedar | Nicolas Muller

Part of the White Cedar series, this work by French artist Nicolas Muller, based in Geneva, combines transfer and concrete on Japanese paper.

Balancing contemporary drawing and sculpture, White Cedar explores the tension between concrete architecture and the organic growth of the white cedar. The interplay between rigid structures and fragile botanical forms reflects themes of nature, boundaries, resilience and memory.
