MCML is holding a 50/50 Raffle and the draw is only a month away!

With your purchase of a fundraising raffle ticket, you are supporting the amazing exhibits and programs offered by the Manitoba Crafts Museum and Library, and helping to care for the museum collection and the Gladys Chown Memorial Library!

The winner will receive 50% of the total ticket sales, to a maximum of $2,500!
The draw date is October 1, 2026.

Kevin Stafford is Winnipeg-based ceramic artist and instructor. Stafford received an MFA in ceramics in 1990 from the University of California Los Angeles. Stafford’s work is influenced by his research on antique ceramics and glazes. He is notable for his recurring cat motifs.

Robert Archambeau was an internationally renowned ceramicist whose career in clay spanned over six decades. His technically sophisticated wood-fired work fused Western techniques with the refined ceramic traditions of Japan, Korea, and China. Archambeau taught at the University of Manitoba’s School of Art where he influenced and mentored many of the makers in Winnipeg’s ceramic scene today.

It has come to our attention that someone is circulating a FAKE application process to the Made in the Middle event. Please only apply through the C2 Centre for Craft website page.

Also, we do not accept applications as they come in, and then immediately ask for payment. We have a jury process that happens in September, and successful artists then receive payment instructions directly from us - NOT from a gmail account.
