The Prehistoria Museum is an epic facility in downtown Toronto, showcasing thousands of artifacts and oddities - including a Tyrannosaurus rex skeleton, Egyptian sarcophagus, taxidermy/skeletons, space-flown hardware/meteorites, and countless treasures.

EMERGENCY SALE. 25% OFF OF EVERYTHING!

We are in an emergency situation and our museum/public education/wildlife conservation work literally WON'T SURVIVE THE WEEK without your help. Donations are so deeply appreciated, but we want you to get something for your money too.

We are offering a minimum of 25% off of everything until December 4th so we can save our museum. We are even willing to take orders on specimens in the museum itself.

Browse our donate-what-you-can museum and see everything from a Tyrannosaurus rex and whale skeleton to pieces of the space shuttle, sabertooth tiger skulls, and man-eating bears!

Our gift shop has over 1000 different products, from dinosaurs plushies to real Tyrannosaurus rex teeth! Take home crystals, real ancient amulets, taxidermy birds, and everything in between.

WHO WANTS FREE TICKETS TO AN ADVANCE SCREENING OF Stephen King's movie "The Monkey"?! We are giving away TWO PAIRS of tickets today (February 12th) and TWO PAIRS tomorrow (February 13th) in-store!

The screening takes place at 9pm on Monday, February 17th.

The first three pairs will be given to randomly-selected visitors to the Prehistoria Museum who approach our museum tour guide Jim and say the line "Show Me The Monkey!". The fourth pair will be given away at our TABOO - Magic, Sideshow and Oddity show on the night of the 14th!

Our museum is located at 333 Yonge Street, Unit 2, Toronto. Open Wednesday-Sunday 12-8pm.

Synopsis: When twin brothers find a mysterious wind-up monkey, a series of outrageous deaths tear their family apart. Twenty-five years later, the monkey begins a new killing spree forcing the estranged brothers to confront the cursed toy. THE MONKEY is only in theatres February 21,2025

Monday, December 23rd, will be our last day open until Boxing Day.

Have you checked out our new shop at Yonge-Dundas Square in Toronto? We're open Wednesday-Sunday 11-7pm at 333 Yonge Street, Unit 2.

We're adding new stock to the sales floor daily, and our museum is rapidly under construction. Even shopping online makes a huge difference in our ability to reopen our public education center.
