Akasha Art Projects is pleased to present Crossed, Immersed & Stratified, an exhibition of 15 new works by John Ferri, featuring guest curator James Turner, 2gallery.

Combining photography, digital collage and graphic design, Ferri brings precision, whimsy and a fascination with human movement to three distinct series.

In Crosswalkers, saturated compositions reveal the connections between people moving through their own private worlds. Stratification catches travellers in fleeting moments of motorized motion, while Immersed turns toward the shared joy of an unexpected encounter.

We invite you to experience these new perspectives on the everyday at Akasha Art Projects, October 16–November 14, 2026.

Art House, Issue 7 — Autumn 2026, is here.

Inside, the photographic worlds of Thomas Brasch, the art of gathering at Mason Studio’s Cultural Hub, and the relationship between art and home, with work by Anna Church in HGTV’s The County. We also turn our attention to the art of framing fashion.

An evening of art, personal style, and shared purpose at Power Ball.

We were delighted to support The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery and its fundraising efforts for contemporary art exhibitions and public programs work that enriches Toronto’s cultural life.

In our familiar palette of black, Kelly wore House of Dwir pants with a jacket discovered at Talize Thrift Store in Belleville, while Sonja wore pants by Toronto designer Élan Tur. An expression of our appreciation for local design, secondhand discoveries, and individual style.

Thank you, Toronto Life, for including us among the evening’s best dressed. It was a pleasure to celebrate alongside our arts community.

Akasha Art Projects welcomes Replanted, a new solo exhibition by Janne Reuss.

In this contemplative body of work, photography takes on a sculptural presence. Images of trees, leaves, concrete, and open sky are held within translucent architectural forms, creating a subtle dialogue between resilience and restraint, nature and the built environment.

Through the tree as metaphor, Reuss reflects on displacement and the evolving nature of identity, asking what remains rooted, what is carried forward, and how belonging is reshaped when its conditions change.

We invite you to experience Replanted at Akasha Art Projects through October 10.

Sometimes, when you meet someone for the first time, you just know. That was how it was when we first met.

Our life together over the past twenty-two years has been a wild adventure. We have built a business, shared our home over the years with three beautiful Dachshunds, along with Luna, our little Cornish Rex hairless cat.

We have moved our business, travelled, and spent much time in Prince Edward County, where we now have a home and another location. It has been a wild and crazy ride, and it has been great.

Today, we celebrate seven years of marriage. On September 3, we will celebrate twenty-two years together. From our very first date, we have never left each other’s side.

Kinda chic, really.

A little pause before an exciting new season.

Akasha Art Projects will be closed from August 30th to September 7th for our annual closure, a chance for our team to refresh, recharge and get inspired for the fall season ahead.

What an amazing summer it has been! Thank you to everyone who visited, connected and created with us. We can’t wait to welcome you back on September 8th with renewed energy and plenty to look forward to.
