The Northumberland Arts Council, a registered charity, promotes and sustains arts and crafts on the North Shore. Our volunteer board manages The Fraser and its vibrant programs and events. We couldn’t do it without our amazing volunteers!

Looking for a fun, creative way to spend a Saturday? We have two great workshops coming up on October 17th!

🐦 MAKE A SEED FEEDER | Kids Workshop
10:30 AM–12:30 PM | FREE!
Kids can join Jennifer Coveyduc to create hanging decorations that will become food for birds throughout the winter. A fun, hands-on way to get creative while helping our feathered friends!

🌿 FALL WREATH MAKING | Adults 16+
1:30–4:30 PM | $20/person
Join Jennifer Coveyduc and create a beautiful, nature-inspired fall wreath for your door using easy-to-find native plants. 🍁

Thanks to the generous support of Fraser donors, children’s workshops are free and adult workshops are offered at discounted rates in 2026. Additional subsidies are also available.

Ever wanted to try embroidery—or brush up on your stitching skills? Join us at The Fraser on Sunday, September 13th for a hands-on embroidery workshop with Jennifer Coveyduc!

Whether you’re a young stitcher just discovering the craft or an adult looking for a creative afternoon, there’s a workshop for you. 🌿🪡

👧 KIDS EMBROIDERY | Ages 9–15

Kids will create an embroidery sampler to learn and showcase a variety of stitches, then use their new skills to create a picture of their own.
