Hall of Fame alumni Chief Willie Littlechild is featured on a new stamp that honours Indigenous sport leaders.

Our newest stamp issue honours Indigenous leadership in sport, celebrating three sports leaders, each for their unique contributions to athletic excellence and cultural pride.

Bryan Trottier, a seven-time Stanley Cup winner and Indigenous hockey legend who inspires future generations through sport and mentorship.

Edward Lennie, who helped to preserve traditional Arctic sports and bring them to the Arctic Winter Games.

Chief Wilton Littlechild, who established several major Indigenous sports organizations and became a global advocate for Indigenous rights.

These award-winning athletes have championed Indigenous sports, leaving legacies that extend far beyond the winners’ podium.

Congratulations to Hall of Fame alumni Dwayne Mandrusiak, who is celebrating 50 seasons with the Edmonton Elks Football Club!

Dwayne was inducted last year as a recipient of the Achievement Award. He was also inducted in 1997 as part of the 1978-1982 Edmonton Eskimos (Elks) Football Teams.

Congratulations on 50 seasons, Dwayne!
