Open Tuesday - Saturday 9:30am-5:00pm for drop in guests. School and private groups please pre-book. Expect to need 1 to 1.5 hours here.

Visit to enjoy our hands-on exhibits, interactive shows, science programs, and special events. We invite school groups, families and the general public for a fun-filled visit to explore and discover science. Public guest hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The office is open Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Do leave a message if there is no answer; we are probably working with g

roups and will get right back to you. Please only visit if feeling well. We run Robotics Clubs, seasonal / summer camps and special events. School classes and other groups should call to plan your visit and to book. We are happy to do off site programs; call to discuss.

Application for our Grade 8 & 9 STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Technology) Club, QUARKS is NOW OPEN
In this 21 week club students get to:
- Do real hands-on science
- Explore different science fields
- Meet other students who love science
- Meet Thompson Rivers University professors and researchers
- Work in real science labs
- Try real scientific tools and technology
- Learn science skills beyond the classroom
- Discover science and tech careers
Dates: September, 2026 - April, 2027
Mondays 4:00pm-6:00pm (excluding holidays)
Classes will alternate between BIG Little Science Centre and TRU
Full program cost: $250

This week our Little Scientists will be learning all about fruit!
Join us as we explore what happens if we cut different fruit and leave it out and how we can save it from going brown. And, make a clay fruit salad to take home!

Best suited for ages 3-5 years, but siblings are always welcome!

Celebrate Pride Week with us this Saturday, June 13.
With sun catcher making station, Ray's Rainbow demo and a mini Light & Colour show, there will be fun for the whole family!

FREE admission with a rainbow passport (get yours in person at BIG Little Science Centre, Kamloops Museum and Archives, the Kamloops Art Gallery, the Thompson-Nicola Regional Library)
