We're excited to announce that Shay Paul is our Member of the Month for October! Shay is the founder of the Indigenous Resurgence Project and the winner of the John Hobday Award in Arts Management (Mentorship) from the Canada Council for the Arts!

Shay is a self-taught artist who always had an affinity for creative expression, using art as a way to respond to the world, process difficult feelings, and share joy with others.

As a proud member of the KAC, Shay loves seeing new artists exhibit in our galleries for the first time. She particularly enjoys celebrating artists at their opening receptions and witnessing the unique elation of someone hosting their very first show.
