Thank you to everyone who joined us Friday evening for the opening reception of Encore! 50 Years of the KSO! It was a wonderful night celebrating the Kamloops Symphony Orchestra's 50 years alongside so many familiar faces from our community. A heartfelt thank you as well to all who helped make the evening possible.

Encore! is a partnership with the Kamloops Symphony Orchestra that traces the history of the KSO and the KSO Music School, a story shaped by musicians, audiences, and the people of Kamloops. The exhibition runs until January 2, and throughout that time we'll be hosting live performances, local musician rehearsals, and screenings of historic KSO performances from our archives.

Make sure you check out the second photo featuring Sally Arai, Principal Clarinet for the KSO, and Catharine Dochstader, Flute and Flute Choir Instructor at KSMS, playing in front of a recording of them playing for the KSO captured in 1991.
