In honour of we have the collar of Ralph, the dog who reportedly belonged to Captain Haakon From of the vessel Imo, which was involved with the Halifax Explosion.

Captain From was killed after their ship hit the munitions ship Mont-Blanc and triggered the 1917 explosion.

Ralph survived the blast however, it is unknown what happened to him in the immediate aftermath.

Our Tuesday Night Tunes, 2026 Summer Edition is all wrapped up! Thanks to our performers, event staff, and you, our wonderful audience of toe-tappers, dancers, lip syncers and singers🥰
We wrapped up with a fantastic crowd last Tuesday with The Dory Bungholes, who brought great memories of concerts past in our Museum. Keep the music in you and look forward to sharing more great tunes next summer! 🥳
