* Critter Dipping & Micro-Exploration: Ever wonder what’s living in the harbour? Use our nets and microscopes to get a close-up look at the tiny but mighty creatures that call these waters home
* Giant Ocean Floor Map: Walk across the country’s underwater landscape! This massive floor map allows you to explore the mountains, valleys, and hidden depths of Canada’s three oceans

We have had an opportunity to speak with staff and those directly impacted by the Provincial program cuts at the Centre - and though we are currently working to manage the reductions WE WILL BE OPEN REGULAR HOURS OF OPERATION.

Below we are sharing the breakdown of the FOUR affected programs and services - the Centre will operate as scheduled and remains committed to supporting people as we navigate the challenges before us together.

What we have at the Mi'kmaw Native Friendship Centre is bigger than any one program it is belonging and community - Msit No’kmaq 🪶

A sincere thanks to Ruth Goba, Akwasi Owusu-Bempah, PhD, Martine St-Louis, MPM, Juanita Peters for participating in today’s webinar, we co-hosted with the Globe and Mail on Canada’s Black Justice Strategy.

It was such a powerful call to action, and a cautionary reminder of the cost of inaction. We all know the justice system doesn’t work fairly for everyone, as it should.
