Nadine Johnson
“Wide Open Spaces”

Nadine’s thoughts on this piece:
“The fields have always been a part of me, the way they roll and breathe, the way the light falls differently depending on the sky. Buried within the layers are papers, marks, and collaged elements that echo what you might actually find out on the land: traces of human presence, weather, and time.

What emerged was something familiar: golden fields moving beneath a gathering storm, the wind alive in every mark. My process is layered and intuitive. Some of what’s here was intentional. Some of it just arrived.“

This is a large horizontal 48x72. It is rich with surprise details and unique marks and visual treasures. We find something new everytime we explore it.

Eunmee Kim
“Where it Deepens”

This 48x48 piece by Eunmee Kim, is one of the favorites of her show. It has a soft flowing organic feel, that bring you to tranquil and watery place. Eunmee has been developing her scale to larger works and bring a gentle but powerful expression to the space.
