Got a railway photo tucked away from a Heritage Park visit? Maybe it’s a steam train shot, a family memory, a perfectly timed railway moment or something that’s been living in an old photo album for decades.

Submit a favourite railway moment from the past 40 years by Sept. 2 for a chance to win a Heritage Park Annual Membership!

🚂 Five finalists will be selected
🚂 Photos will be displayed during Railway Days
🚂 Guests will vote for the winner

One last Wednesday, one last jam 🎶 Music in the Plaza wraps up its 2026 season on Sept. 2 with HYMM Melodies!

This Calgary-based group brings sounds from around the world to Heritage Plaza, mixing traditional melodies with jazz, blues, Klezmer and Western pop for one very fun FREE finale.

Listen for Iranian santur, Turkish saz, Arabic oud, violin, Latin guitar, clarinet, saxophone, percussion, vocals and plenty more.

🎟️ Yup, admission is FREE! Pre-register online ahead of time to skip the line.⁠
⁠
🚍 Heads up, there is NO general guest parking at Heritage Park. FREE parking and complimentary shuttles are available from Anderson CTrain Station and Mount Royal University, with buses running approximately every 10 minutes.⁠

🎡 Midway bracelets are $15 and still available! Grab them online ahead of time.⁠
⁠
⛴️ S.S. Moyie cruises are officially SOLD OUT.⁠
⁠
🎶 Come ready for lots of live music, including Main Stage headliner Kyle McKearney!

The only exception is for guests with a valid accessible parking tag. Everyone else, please plan ahead before heading to the Park!⁠

🚌 NEW this year: there are TWO FREE parking and shuttle locations, with complimentary shuttles running approximately every 10 minutes.⁠⁠
