School’s out. Spooky fun is in! 🎃👻

Give your camper a day of Halloween-themed games, hands-on activities and historical discoveries at Heritage Park’s Halloween Spooktacular PD Day Camp.

They’ll explore the history of Halloween and how it was celebrated on the Prairies, with plenty of festive fun along the way!

⏰ 9 a.m.–4 p.m.
🎟️ $75 per camper

Ghouls’ Night Out is bringing costumes, spooky stories and Halloween fun to Heritage Park’s Historical Village!

Find your way through the Halloween maze, decorate a cookie, meet the Alberta Ghostbusters and discover surprises around the Park. There’s something for little ghosts, grown-up ghouls and everyone in between.

A little music can bring a whole lot of history to life. 🎶

Thank you to the YourAlberta (Government of Alberta) for helping fill Heritage Park with music during our arts and culture-themed season in 2025, our 61st year!

From our historic streets and buildings to our admission-free Heritage Plaza, travelling musicians brought the sounds of the past to life and added something special to visits for guests of all ages. 🧡

With historically appropriate instruments and musical traditions, we shared our heritage through experiences that made history engaging, entertaining and accessible.

We’re grateful for the support that helped us preserve the past, celebrate creativity and make lasting memories with our community.

Carnival of Curiosities: Adult Night is taking over Heritage Park for one night only. 👀🎃

October 22 🩸Grab the group chat, pick a costume and get ready for an adults-only Halloween night packed with strange surprises, late-night experiences and plenty to explore.

🔮 From Dusk Till Dawn: Fortunes After Dark with Toy Box Productions
A 10-minute guided tarot experience that blends storytelling, mystery and just enough “wait... what did that mean?” energy.
🍸 The Evil Eye
Crème de cassis + prosecco + a juice-filled eyeball. Very on theme. $8.50.

Culturally Speaking: Calgary General Hospital, Its Part in the Calgary Story is coming to Heritage Park on Oct. 14! 🏥

From Calgary’s early cottage hospital, now replicated at Heritage Park, to the sandstone Calgary General Hospital and its later Bridgeland locations, the hospital played an important role in the city’s growth and the health of its residents.

Join retired nurse and longtime Bridgeland resident Deb Lee as she shares the history she uncovered while working to preserve and tell the story of the General.

Homeschooler Days bring lessons to life at Heritage Park! 📚✨

Trade the classroom for Canada’s largest living history museum, where students can explore history, science, art and culture through interactive, curriculum-linked programs led by knowledgeable costumed interpreters.

It’s a full day of hands-on learning, curiosity and discovery in a setting unlike any other.

📅 Oct. 15
⏰ 9:30 a.m.–2 p.m. | Check-in at 9:15 a.m.
🎒 Grades 1–7
🎟️ $55.95 per student, GST exempt
👨‍👩‍👧 One complimentary guardian per student

Each program is limited to 15 participants, so early registration is encouraged!
