Young Curators present artists from Utopia Art Sydney
4 to 13 June2026
Presented by 3:33 Art Projects with Young Curators from Abbotsleigh and Hornsby Girls High School.

3:33 Art Projects has created the innovative Young Curators art program to partner with secondary schools. It supports education in the arts and provides unique experiences for the students, the school and the broader community whilst supporting Australian artists.
The program connects students with artists from Utopia Art Sydney to host an exhibition in the Grace Cossington Smith Gallery and work as a curatorial team to research, develop, select and stage the exhibition, providing valuable insights into various perspectives of the creative art industry.

Young Curators visit commercial gallery shows, collectors, art fairs and 3:33 Art Projects’ exhibitions to open their minds to what is possible in a non-traditional gallery setting.

Utopia Art Sydney exhibits Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists in a contemporary context. These include leading members of Papunya Tula Artists, Gloria Petyarre from Utopia and non-Indigenous artists from Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra.
