Introducing Isobelle ✨

Isobelle (she/her) is a Boorloo/Perth and Kombumerri/Gold Coast–based dancer, performer and emerging theatre maker. A WAAPA alumna, her multidisciplinary practice moves across dance, theatre, film and performance, with international experience in Ireland, Italy and Germany.

Recent highlights include an artist residency at House Conspiracy, performing in The Flying Bicycles tour of Dreams of a Lonely Planet (2025), and collaborations with Brokencrow Theatre in Ireland and Stephanie Lake.

Isobelle also directed Wakey Wakey Eggs & Bakey, which received the Perth Fringe Weekly Dance & Physical Theatre Award.

We’re delighted to introduce Isobelle and her practice to the Land Street Gallery community.

Summary:
At the time of one’s second year studying painting, a certain renowned tutor critiqued ‘stop painting your brothers.’ Thus, with a healthy hint of rebellion, ‘Stop Painting Your Brothers’ brings together family-brother values, a fun initiation to a showcase of brother subjects, and a generous serving of playfulness that is associated with our brothers.
