Abie Loy Kemarre is the granddaughter of the great Kathleen Petyarre and shares the talent that the Petyarre family is so well known for.

Abie's styling is quite different, especially as she eschews the brighter more vibrant colours for which Utopian art is known - choosing instead to mostly paint in colours that hearken to the natural ochres of the pre-acrylic era of aboriginal art.

Abie Loy Kemarre is the granddaughter of the great Kathleen Petyarre and shares the talent that the Petyarre family is so well known for.

Our current featured artist on the website is Eileen Napaltjarri - whose vibrant and colourful works are very interesting and deal with the site of her father's birth, Tjitjurrulnga (also known as Titjurrulpa), a rockhole to the west of Kintore.

Eileen is a second generation artist - with both parents being important and founding members of the Papuyna Tula art movement.

Her work is collectible, beautiful and available in a variety of sizes and price ranges.

These two beautiful ochre pieces by the great Paddy Bedford are really striking paintings - the composition, contrast and palette of the naturally sourced ochre result in a very dramatic addition to any display space.

Sized at 91 x 61cm, these pieces are on the small side of what we have available, but they punch well above their weight so to speak in terms of their importance, quality, and collectability.

These panels by Walangkura Napanangka represent an opportunity to get your hands on artworks by a very well respected and collectible artist (usually known for her very large works) at a fantastic price - all of these fall beneath $3,000AUD each.

This vibrant and stunning piece celebrating Women's Body Painting is from the great Emily Kame Kngwarreye, one of Australia's most prestigious artists and it is a fabulous piece. The pink lines represent the painting and markings used upon the bodies of the women as they carry out their important and often very secretive ceremonies.

It's dimensions are 122 x 91cm, a medium sized piece that would look at home on all but the largest walls.

Emily's work is greatly admired and highly sought after by collectors, and is not often available for sale. If you are a collector, we'd love to get you to our stockroom so you could see this piece in person, photos simply cant do work like this justice as the details of the colours are unavoidably lost in translation.
