M Contemporary Exhibiting and supporting emerging and established contemporary art and artists from around the world.

Address | Number 8, 15-19 Boundary Street, Darlinghurst, Sydney, Australia, 2010 .M Contemporary was founded in 2013 by Sydney-based, South African art collector Michelle Paterson. Located in Woollahra Sydney, it is a gallery space which aims to create a cross cultural conversation through showing and supporting emerging and established artists from around the world. We aim to foster a strong appreciation in Australian audiences for a new generation of foreign and domestic artists and to expose both novice and established collectors to these works.

After months of preparation and a busy install day yesterday, our Sydney Contemporary booth is officially ready.

We’re thrilled to be presenting new works by Rick Carlino, Lyndi Sales and Jayati Bose at Booth D11 for the 10th Edition of Sydney Contemporary

Bringing together new and recent works by a selection of gallery artists, our Spring Group Show offers an opportunity to explore the breadth of the gallery programme and the evolving practices of the artists we work closely with.

Running alongside our Sydney Contemporary presentation, the exhibition offers a quieter, more intimate moment in the gallery.

In conversation, Anya Pesce and Cameron Haas reflect on the evolution of their practices. From returning to ideas held in sketchbooks for years, to embracing uncertainty and pushing familiar materials and processes in new directions.

NOW SHOWING | Luke Thurgate’s works from ‘New Old School’

Come and experience Luke Thurgate richly imagined world, where echoes of Renaissance and Baroque painting meet contemporary q***r narratives, now showing at .M Contemporary’s annexe.
