Come by to visit and experience a phenomenal creative destination - a leader within the local hunter arts community, supporting artists professional development and livelihood. Visit the artists' studios, The Incubator Gallery, talk with the artists and immerse yourself within the multifarious, diverse place TCI is. You too can support the local arts community by attending arts events and especially, by purchasing work directly from artists'.

The Creator Incubator’s open call exhibition aimed at helping artists sell work before the end of the financial year.

One weekend only: Saturday 20 June – Sunday 21 June. We will hang your work, sell your work, and buyers can take it home on the night!
✷ All welcome
✷ Up to 10 artworks per artist
✷ $5 per artwork entry
✷ Discounted 25% commission on sales
✷ Delivery of work: Thursday 11 June, 10am–6pm + Friday 12 June, 12–5pm
✷ Exhibition Opening: Saturday 20 June, 5–9pm | Sale starts from 5pm

As this exhibition is designed to encourage sales, artists are invited to review their existing stock and submit works that may have been previously exhibited, or held in storage.

Cash/Card/Carry/Claim offers an opportunity to clear backlog and generate income ahead of the end of the financial year. We encourage the submission of smaller, accessibly priced works, as these have historically achieved the strongest sales.

TCI as of today (2026) and TCI when it first began (2017) ✷

Founded in 2017 by artist and Director — The Creator Incubator started with 5 artists… 9 years on, we now have 55 resident artists, designers, makers, and thinkers, from emerging to those of national reputation.

TCI began with a mission to offer affordable studio spaces, to foster growth, development, and promotion of not only the artists under our roof but also in contributing to the promotion of the wider region’s artists to help build a sustainable cultural landscape.

Join us for an evening of art, music, food and open studios as we mark this milestone together.

‘9x9’ brings together all 55 of our resident artists in a collective gesture - each work responding to the 9x9 theme. What emerges is a snapshot of our community: diverse practices held within a shared structure.

It’s crazy to think when The Creator Incubator was first hatched in 2017 by founder/director Braddon Snape, we started with 5 artists… 9 years on we now have 55. Wow.
