Sunlight that had to be shared 🌇 🌞

We had a lovely secondary school group come by on Tuesday for a collage session and this is what they arrived into 😊✨

What would you have thought as a teenager walking into this space?

We gave them free range of the whole studio, packing away the retail area so that we could seat all 20 participants 🌟 Fast forward 24 hours and now the shops been restored for you all, we’ll be open all week, Wednesday through to Sunday, from 10 to 5pm :)

✨ We won’t be running any collage workshops or private events between mid-July & mid-August.

💫 The studio-shop will remain open as usual, as a reminder, we open from Wednesday through to Sunday, from 10am to 5pm

🌟 We’ve added new workshop dates for late August, September & early October.

How our bookcase has evolved and changed over the years! Materials have come in gone. Displays rotated and changed. It’s the real centrepiece of That Paper Joint

We’ve seen it filled with donated books, that have then been reused & transformed into new works of art.

We love our double sided bookcase/room divider, and how it visually separates the studio-shop, from the workshop area behind. We call the central opening, the ‘book nook’, and it’s most likely where you’ve met us, had a yarn, or picked up some tools and collage supplies :)

Anyway, we just thought this was a nice photo to share from the years gone by 😊 We’re often so busy looking forward, that it’s nice occasionally to look back and reflect 🌟

Playing & experimenting with a few different techniques, using one of our favourite materials 👉🏼 National Geographic magazines… ✂️🌟

If you’re coming for a collage session at soon, you’re in for a treat 💫 as we’ve recently received loads of vintage Nat Geos for you to use 💛

Next week at Pub Collage Club, we’ll also be doing something exciting in relation to National Geographic magazines…! Good times ahead!
