๐Ÿšจ Special offer for MAC Museum Members โ€“ BlueSCSI compatible SCSI drive emulator, $65 + postage.
Not a Member yet? Join for $9/month and cancel at any time!

SD card SCSI solutions provide drive emulation for your vintage Mac. Compatible images can be copied from your modern computer to a microSD card (not included). This microSD card is then used in the drive emulator and read by your vintage Mac as if it were a SCSI hard drive.

By plugging into the external DB25 SCSI port this is an easily accessible and convenient way to help get software from online repositories like Macintosh Garden onto your vintage Mac.

For more information on use, function, and configuration visit: bluescsi.com

Unfortunately no success getting a LaserWriter up and going ๐Ÿ–จ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜”

The closest one is a LaserWriter Select which works and prints, but looks to need a new transfer roller โ€“ a key part that gets the toner onto the paper. โšซ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿ“„

That's how it goes sometimes, but I won't give up! ๐Ÿ’ช Though will need to defer this project for a later date.

The May open was just a few days ago but Iโ€™ve already started getting ready for June! Expect a few new things to check out at MM!

A few things so far:
๐Ÿ‘‰ Iโ€™ve restored an original Macintosh 128k (still to do the keyboard and mouse!) and this will be on display for you to use! The OG Mac! ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ˜Ž
๐Ÿ‘‰ An LCII will be running with an Apple IIe card installed โ€“ you can see how Apple stepped up their efforts to migrate users away from Apple II and onto Macintosh. ๐ŸŽโœŒ๏ธโ†’๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ
๐Ÿ‘‰ Iโ€™m working away on re-capping a couple of Mac Classics (using MM re-cap kits, of course!) which will be networked for a bit of fun, hoping to get a LaserWriter in the mix too! ๐Ÿ–จ๏ธ

Also, Iโ€™m working on something elseโ€ฆ something a bit different! More to come a bit closer to next open ๐Ÿ˜‰

(And, yes, I enjoy watching movies while repairingโ€ฆ you can see it was Ghostbusters this time! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜†)
