Sacred Resonance will have plants setup for us to interact with in real time through music. Electrodes on the leaf of the plant translate the electrical resistance across the leaf into signals which are translated into music in real time.

What would plants say if they could sing? Find out at the opening, 4-7pm, Saturday 10 October, upstairs at The Port Admiral Hotel.

Join us of the opening launch of The Seed of Life-Group Art Exhibition-Nature Festival 2026

‘The Seed of Life’, a group art exhibition exploring the sacred seed as a universal symbol of creation, renewal and connection.

Our opening event features live plant music by Sacred Resonance - plants will be connected to electrodes translating their electrical signals into music so you can interact with them. What do plants sound like if they can sing?

Live music will also be played during the event.

In response to Nature Festival’s 2026 theme, Seed, Jessica Curtis of In Search of the Divine is curating ‘The Seed of Life’, a group art exhibition exploring the sacred seed as a universal symbol of creation, renewal and connection.

Across cultures, spiritual traditions and mythologies, the seed represents infinite potential: a tiny form containing the possibility of life, growth and transformation. Through painting, mixed media, photography, drawing, textiles, and natural mediums participating artists will explore sacred geometry, ancient stories, cycles of nature, ancestry, regeneration and the relationship between humanity, the Earth and the cosmos.

The exhibition invites reflection on what we choose to plant in the world through our actions, relationships and ideas. At a time of environmental, social and global transformation, ‘The Seed of Life’ considers how creativity can nurture hope, responsibility and connection. It celebrates the seed not only as a biological source of life, but also as a symbol of consciousness, shared potential and our capacity to shape a more positive, connected and sustainable future.

In Search of the Divine partners with Glenelg Art Gallery in bring a curation of specially selected First Nations artists together for this sacred event.
