Congratulations to member Kelsey Ashe !! Announced as a finalist this week in the ; a major national landscape award, in Tasmania with a $100,000 acquisitive main prize with just 27 finalists.

The selected work, Bunuru Nocture, Derbal Yerrigan (High-Summer Night, Swan River), was made through layered print processes, botanical and earth pigments and long observation of ‘place’ at night. It’s a work that shifts with light — holding something of the magic of the land that you can feel down by the river as summer twilight descends over the glowing limestone cliffs of Blackwall Reach.  Fremantle locals also might recognise that lone She-Oak tree
which grows on Jenalup beach neat Point Walter.
The Hadley’s Art Prize exhibition runs from 1 August - 23 August 2026 in Hobart.
Congratulations to all the finalists.
