15 diverse and talented local artists, all in ONE spot, for ONE weekend only!
Presented by Artists Alliance Australia, Inc., this exclusive event brings our vibrant local art scene to life — with many of the artists available onsite to chat all things art and inspiration.
I’ll be showcasing 18 of my works inspired by our beautiful Sunshine Coast — like this misty morning view of the Glass House Mountains 💙 — plus some pieces from my travels to New Zealand and South Korea, and maybe a cheeky Parisian scene too!

WE HAVE A WINNER... AND A NEW COVER!

A huge congratulations to Jo M, whose beautiful Beach Day at Moffat has won our Moffat Beach Photography Competition and will grace the cover of our September–October Caloundra Chronicle!

The entries gave us a beautiful snapshot of Moffs and what makes this little pocket of Caloundra so special.

Our community helped us narrow the entries down to five finalists before we handed the very difficult final decision over to four local judges. And after plenty of deliberation, Jo’s photo was chosen.

For Jo, the winning view is also a very personal one.

“I grew up at Moffat Beach. My grandparents lived at the top of Queen of Colonies for 35 years. The image was captured on a perfect day from their balcony, looking out over the beautiful scene that is Moffy B.”

A big thank you to our local judging panel, including local artist Raelean Hall, Michael ‘Frog’ Flocke from Moffs Made, Wes Thompson from Jericho Moffat Beach and our own editor Alana Hall.

They brought their own connection to Moffs and perspective to the judging table and certainly didn’t have an easy decision to make!

Our local businesses also helped us make the competition a little more special. Jo will receive an original oil painting of a local coastal scene by Raelean Hall, runner-up Greg Barnett will receive a $100 Wednesday Night Date voucher from Jericho Moffat Beach and Rik Bresolin will take home a Jericho merchandise pack.

Thank you to everyone who entered, voted, judged and got behind our Moffat Beach cover competition. It’s been such a lovely way to celebrate Moffs and the people who know and love it.
