Forest Dwellers by Monte Lupo 🌲🌷

Forest Dwellers is an immersive installation combining sculpture, painted timber and integrated seating to create a visually striking and emotionally engaging feature within the Oasis Shopping Centre.

Inspired by the quiet beauty and organic forms of the forest, the artwork introduces a sense of nature, curiosity and calm into the bustling retail environment. Through thoughtful spatial design and playful sculptural elements, Forest Dwellers encourages visitors to pause, observe and engage with the work at their own pace.

The installation is designed not only as an artwork, but as a welcoming place to sit, reflect and connect—creating a moment of creativity and discovery within the everyday shopping experience.

What's On at SWELL 2026 | Workshops

Ceramic Seated Lady Workshop with Monte Lupo 🌳

Spend a full day creating your own figurative ceramic sculpture. In the morning, you’ll develop character, posture, and expression using expressive hand‑building techniques. The wheel‑thrown figure base and tree stump are prepared for you, allowing focus on detailing and texture. Your finished piece will stand around 40 cm tall. After lunch, you’ll decorate using underglazes and finishes.
