Create your own electronic instrument from scratch. Metal. Wood. Springs. Sound. No experience needed — you take your noise box home.

Your trainer: CEMGİL (ZACK ZACK ZACK) — musician, producer, one half of Vienna’s post-punk duo. Two albums released. Now he’s teaching you how to build your own instrument.

What you’ll do:
→ Learn electronics basics
→ Drill, cut, join, assemble
→ Experiment with sounds & effect chains
→ Record your own samples

All materials, coffee & wine included.

INTERNATIONAL JAZZ DAY @ FUNKHAUS

Zum UNESCO International Jazz Day — dem weltweiten Feiertag, der auf Initiative von Herbie Hancock ins Leben gerufen wurde und Jazz als grenzüberschreitende, verbindende Kunstform würdigt — kommt eine internationale Formation rund um den Wiener Saxofonisten Guido Spannocchi ins Funkhaus.
Gemeinsam mit dem italienischen Quartett präsentiert das Ensemble Eigenkompositionen und überraschende Funde aus dem Jazz-Repertoire. Ein Abend zwischen Tradition, Experiment und internationalem Austausch — ein Abend, der die Offenheit und Komplexität des Jazz hörbar macht.

🌹 The Shotel is open.
American performance artist Ann Liv Young arrives at Funkhaus, inhabiting her legendary alter ego Sherry Vignon to transform our space into something between a hotel, a therapy session, and a night you won’t forget.
This is The Shotel Project — developed in dialogue with the Angewandte Performance Lab and curated by Lucie Strecker (KKP / Angewandte). Alongside Peter Kozek and Ann Liv Young, students from the Angewandte will perform and facilitate on site.

Come for sherry. Stay for Sherapy.
