🌿✨ We are open!!!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made the opening of Der Mensch im Spiegel der Natur (The Human in the Mirror of Nature) such a special event!
Set within the wonderful surroundings of Vienna’s Setagaya Park, in the intimate atmosphere of a Japanese-inspired teahouse, art and nature came together in a truly unique way.
The exhibition brings together textile installations, photography, and painting, exploring the relationship between humans and nature and inviting us to reflect on the connections between the body, the landscape, and our inner worlds.
✨ The opening programme was filled with unforgettable moments: the beautiful Paper Shelter performance by Alina Araslanova accompanied by violin music by Anastasiia Kuzmyna Bodnar, Manami Okazaki’s touching vocal performance about water and Sakura, which began with a public intervention as she walked through the garden across the lake, the tender poetry of Lina Solovei, and an inspiring speech by Dr. Svitlana Shiells on Japanese and Ukrainian culture.
A special thank you to all the exhibiting artists for their sensitivity and creativity, to everyone who contributed to the programme, and to our guests for sharing this memorable experience with us. Your presence made this gathering truly meaningful.
