Beautiful thoughts...

For me, a painting isn’t just something to look at—it’s something to feel. 🌊

I’ve get lost in the texture and layering of the paint. There’s a hidden language in the ridges of a palette knife and the history buried beneath layers of pigment. It’s what gives the canvas its soul.

If you know my work, you know I love a minimal palette. But lately, the ocean has been calling for something new. I’m focusing on bringing more vibrant color into my recent seascapes—capturing those fleeting, brilliant moments where the light hits the water.

Some paintings don’t just hang on a wall — they activate it.

Oh, the beauty of the Italian language! French and Italian should be compulsory subjects in schools worldwide.

A chanson is the French word for “song,” specifically referring to lyric-driven French vocal music spanning from the Middle Ages to modern pop. It is characterised by its poetic, often romantic or melancholic nature, and can range from polyphonic Renaissance compositions to modern cabaret-style performances. It is often regarded as a precursor to modern pop music.

In the studio with my body of work, Bridging Cultures.

I’m drawn to the strength, resilience, and beauty of African women — expressed through presence, pride, and form. This series is my tribute, explored through a minimalist, abstract, contemporary language, where portraits and abstract counterparts meet in dialogue.

Layered with acrylic, crochet, wool, pearls, and texture, each piece builds depth, dignity, and quiet power. My continued intention is to create with purpose and continue honouring and amplifying these stories.
