One of my favorite parts of custom framing is seeing how much a piece can change once it has the right frame around it.

These are a few we recently worked on at Frame Masters Galleries.

We’re a local family-owned frame shop and we frame everything from artwork and family photos to jerseys, memorabilia, diplomas, kids’ artwork, canvases, and those pieces you’ve had sitting around because you weren’t sure what to do with them.

If you have something you’ve been meaning to frame, feel free to stop by and bring it in. We’re always happy to help with ideas.

Behind the scenes at FrameMasters. Making floater frames takes precision and accuracy to make sure every measurement and detail is right, so the finished piece looks flawless. Sometimes that means borrowing the design table for a little extra workspace!

We’re doing a little shop clean-out at FrameMasters today!

We have frames, mats, and prints on sale and ready to go. Stop by, dig through what we have, and grab a deal before it’s gone.

We’re here today until 2 PM!

There’s something special about seeing the desert we call home captured like this. 🌵✨

This beautiful photograph by captures a Joshua tree beneath a sky filled with stars. The way he captures the beauty of our desert, from the unmistakable Joshua trees to those incredible night skies, is amazing.

We recently had the pleasure of custom framing this piece along with a few others from his collection, and each one is a beautiful reminder of just how incredible the place we call home really is.

Beautiful work, Milton, and thank you for trusting us to custom frame your photography!

Not every frame needs to be replaced.

This frame had some damage and definitely showed its age, but the customer wanted to keep it. So instead of replacing everything, we worked with what they already had and gave the artwork a fresh presentation with new matting.

The difference a simple mat change can make is pretty incredible.

We’ll always show you your options. Sometimes a new frame is the right choice, and sometimes keeping an older frame, imperfections and all, is exactly what the customer wants.

Plus, when something can be reused, that’s one less thing being thrown away. ♻️

Have an older framed piece that needs some attention? Bring it in and let’s see what we can do with it.

We had so much fun having Danny Lee Brooks stop by Frame Master Galleries and give you a little look at what we do! 🎥🖼️

From custom framing and canvas stretching to shadow boxes, artwork, memorabilia and all the interesting things that come through our doors, there’s always something happening around here.

Huge thank you to Danny for featuring our family business and putting together such an awesome video. We love how it turned out! 🙌

Come see us in Yucca Valley and bring us something to frame!

Some artwork is worth more than the paper it’s drawn on. 💜

This little octopus was drawn by my daughter when she was 7. I actually found it under the seat of my car years later, and now it’s framed and hanging right here in our shop.

It makes me smile every time I look at it.

Kids’ artwork has a way of becoming more special as the years go by. The crooked lines, their favorite colors, the things they imagined at that age… those are memories worth keeping.

So before you toss that pile of drawings, pick a favorite. Frame it. Put it on the wall. You might be surprised how much it means to you someday.

And yes, we absolutely frame kids’ masterpieces at Frame Masters. 💜

A little behind the scenes at Frame Masters…

These small pieces were floated and shadow boxed, giving the artwork some extra depth while keeping the edges visible.

Here we’re cleaning the glass and getting everything ready for the final fitting. One of the many little steps that goes into custom framing before a piece is ready to head home.

A little behind the scenes at Frame Masters today 👀

We’ve got artist Melissa Lakey mixed media pieces on the worktable and we’re busy getting everything framed and ready for her upcoming art show in Montana.

Lots of pieces, lots of frames, and a busy shop today! We love getting to be part of the process and seeing everything come together before the artwork heads off to the show.

Stay tuned. We’ll share more as we get these finished up!
