Meet the faces behind Coyote Little. .vanparys is a dedicated full-time artist who curates and manages most of what you see, while James, aka , keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Together, as friends and business partners, we share a common goal: create amazing art and support our creative community.

Coyote Little is Tonya’s dedicated studio space, originally it was ment to help her increase production and have a means to sell her work on a regular basis. However, the past year brought unexpected challenges when Tonya needed to have her fingertip amputated due to a dog bite that spriled in to some unexpected set backs with her painting and photography. Despite this, we faced these obstacles together, adapting and moving forward as Tonya healed, redirecting focus to the monthly art walk and local artists.

Since opening, we have welcomed over 120 local artists to show at our gallery and studio, without charging fees or creating unrealistic expectations of the artists.

As summer winds down, we are gearing up to expand Coyote Little’s online presence and dedicate more time to personal projects. Excited about big plans for the future, we are ready for what’s next!

We would also like to mention we couldn’t do it without the help of our good friend Delilah the Coyote, Rick, and !

Don’t Get It Twisted’

“Fiber” Arts 🧵 🪡 🧶
Threads, fibers, knots, and tangles; this one lives in the hands.

We’re looking for hangable artwork rooted in textile based practices: weaving, sewing, embroidery, needlework, and anything that bends, binds, or builds through fiber. Traditional or experimental, clean or chaotic, if it’s twisted, it belongs here.

“What a Prick” 🌵

Abe Alvarez-Tostado explores abstraction and figuration via painting, drawing, and mixed media. His work, inspired by personal experience, tackles themes of identity, memory, and emotion. Characterized by layered textures, gestural marks, and a dynamic palette, figures and forms emerge and dissolve, creating tension between presence and absence. This invites viewers into a contemplative, open ended narrative.
