Supporting local nonprofits through Kroger community rewards program!
I’ve noticed that many people likely do not know about this very easy and 100% free way to get extra financial support for your favorite local nonprofit organization when shopping at Kroger. If you link your Kroger Plus card/account to an organization, a small percentage of what you spend will be sent to that organization on a quarterly basis! In the Kroger app, simply log in, click on the three horizontal lines in the top right corner, and select “rewards” (3rd option from the top). Then click on “Community Rewards” and you can search for a choose an organization. That’s literally it! Most local churches and nonprofits are registered…it’s a great way to give back, especially with the economy the way it is presently. Every little bit adds up and makes a difference for these causes. You can change organizations at any time, and as long as you use your Kroger Plus card or phone number when you shop, a portion of EVERY purchase you make is accounted for. You can even see how much Kroger donated each quarter based on your personal shopping! I encourage you to stop scrolling - just for a sec - and sign up! Individually we can’t change the world, but we can certainly do our part to make small, positive changes!
