We’re looking for a First Division Museum Operations Coordinator to help lead the day-to-day operations of the museum, including volunteer coordination, visitor experience, museum events, facilities, and public programs.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a museum environment, coordinating people and details, and making sure the visitor experience runs smoothly from opening to closing.
The position is based at Cantigny in Wheaton, Illinois, with a Wednesday–Sunday schedule and some flexibility based on operational needs.

Race day is this Saturday! 👟
The Annual Cantigny 5K Run/Walk is returning Saturday, October 17, and there’s still time to join us.

Run or walk through the grounds of Cantigny, support the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans, and stick around to enjoy the park for the rest of the day.

5K registration is $30 through October 15. After that, it jumps to $45.

Autumn is in full swing! Autumn Blaze™ Freeman maple leaves and Orange Zest chrysanthemum flower heads form the mesmerizing spiral in today’s mandala. Between the alternating mums are white clusters of blooming snakeroot.

At the dead center is a lone Majestic Giants™ II White with Blotch pansy. The eight massive white bulbs around the perimeter are Round ‘n Purple ornamental allium. Fall is the time to plant spring-flowering bulbs. This allium blooms in mid- to late May, filling the gap after the tulips finish and before most perennials start flowering. Rodents and deer also leave alliums alone!
