Cascais is where rugged Atlantic cliffs meet charming seaside streets—sun, salt air, and effortless coastal beauty all in one place.

Let me tell you—walking up to the Castelo dos Mouros feels like you accidentally wandered into a movie set. You start the climb thinking, “Okay, this is nice,” and then suddenly you’re on these ancient stone walls stretching across the mountains like something out of a fantasy film. This place dates back to the 8th and 9th centuries when the Moors controlled the region, and you can feel it—it’s not polished or pretty in the palace sense, it’s rugged, real, and kind of wild. You’re literally walking along history, with views opening up more and more the higher you go.
