B&C Wood Crafts was honored to help the Old Bridgewater Historical Society with a new sign for the home of Rev. James Keith (aka the "Keith house"). We would like to thank them for giving us the opportunity to work on this project. Especially one so close to home!

Happy Holidays from the Keith House!

Happy Holidays to all from the Old Bridgewater Historical Society! We wish all of you a bright and merry season full of health, wealth, and happiness!

We couldn't help but share these photos of the beautiful Keith House in West Bridgewater, bedecked with greens donated by M.N.C Farmstand! If you haven't had a chance to drive by and see all the recent work on the house, we encourage you to drive by and take a look -- day or night, it's beautiful!

It's done and it looks FAB-U-LOUS!

Can you spot the differences between these "before and after" photos? We sure can!

The finishing touches were put on the 357-year-old Keith House (located on River Street in West Bridgewater) yesterday and we are pleased to announce it is now done with fresh paint, some much-needed repairs, and the house's pests have been sprayed!

Another HUGE shout out to Willie's Painting, the West Bridgewater Lions Club, Jerry Lawrence, Caryn Barker, Bruce Morse Jr., Burgess Pest Management and Zorbas Pizza and Subs!!

The house has come SOOOOO far in the last few weeks, and without the people named above, it would not be possible. The Old Bridgewater Historical Society is appreciative beyond words. Thank you to each and every person that had a hand in making this possible!

Getting closer!

The crew made more progress today! We can't wait to see the final color on the front doors and the panes of glass again, but we're more than pleased with the progress! Thanks guys!

Getting closer!

Another great day of progress made by Willie's Painting of Waltham. The doors and house have been primered and sanded. Imperfections were corrected and the 2nd coat of primer was begun. Can't wait to see the final paint! A HUGE thank you to all who have made this possible! Jerry Lawrence, Caryn Barker, Willie and crew, Bruce Morse Jr. , and more - you all have our sincere gratitude!

Progress continues!

Despite a disappointing day and a half of rain, Willie's Painting did an amazing job at the house today! The first coat of tinted primer is on, but there's still a lot of sanding and work to do. An appreciative shout out to Willie and his crew at Willie's Painting, Jerry Lawrence, Bruce Morse Jr., and Zorba's Pizza! You guys rock!

Remember, if you drive by the house to see the progress, please don't bother the workers or ask for a tour -- they are under a deadline and are trying very hard to do their jobs. They don't need distractions!

Reverand James Keith House, built in 1662. Believed to be the oldest parsonage in America and my 8x's great grandparent's home.
We had a fire there last night!

Did you know that the Keith House contains at least one colonial 'witch mark'? One of the doors to the gift shop is carved with the VV mark meant to ward off witches. It stands for "virgin of virgins" and is a reference to the Virgin Mary.
