Elza Ritter, the founder of the Elza Ritter Piano Academy, brings over 36 years of musical experience and international accomplishments as pianist, piano and voice teacher as well as a judge, and piano accompanist. Professor Ritter's training has focused on music pedagogy and on enabling students to reach their highest levels of technical and musical proficiency. Ritter has studied and teaches a w

ide range of music and piano styles, from Baroque to Jazz, and from Renaissance to modern music. Ritter’s education includes:
Gnessin Music Academy (Russia), Master's Degree in Piano Playing and Pedagogy, 1989. Music College of Leninabad, Bachelor's Degree with Honors, 1983
Leninabad Music School for the Gifted, Honors Diploma, 1978
As a performer, Professor Ritter has played at the famous Kennedy Center.

Tchaikovsky – Olson – Esper

The lesson is: do not be distracted by any thoughts — negative or positive. Even the excitement of realizing that you are playing well can throw you off just as much as negative thoughts can.

The goal is to stay focused until the very last note and not allow any outside thoughts to enter your mind while you are performing. 🎹🎵🎶🤩🤯🤷‍♀️
