In this body of work, Crnjak explores the forest as both subject and metaphorical structure. Inspired by natural environments as well as screen-based, hyper-mediated spaces, the paintings investigate the ephemeral nature of perception and time as non-linear and deeply tied to memory and body. Through a balance of systematic inquiry and intuitive discovery, the exhibition invites sustained looking, where perception unfolds over time and meaning is suspended for a deeper experience of time and presence. Rather than depicting fixed images, these paintings stimulate spaces that exist between memory and anticipation, where direct observation and mediated perception quietly converge

What an extraordinary honor it was to witness Carole Feuerman accept the Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Sculpture Center in NYC on May 1st. A truly monumental and well-deserved recognition of one of the most influential sculptors of our time.

The accomplishment itself was incredible, but hearing Carole mention Medici during her acceptance speech was a moment we will never forget. It was deeply moving and an honor beyond words.

We also had the privilege of spending the weekend with Carole and touring her remarkable new studio — an inspiring experience that reminded us why her work continues to captivate audiences around the world.

Beyond her artistic achievements, Carole has made an incredible impact on Medici through her generosity, mentorship, and ability to connect and bring so many artists together. She has helped foster meaningful collaborations, friendships, and a sense of artistic community that will have a lasting impact for years to come.

Above all, we are forever grateful for her friendship, inspiration, and unwavering support. Congratulations, Carole, on this extraordinary achievement, remarkable legacy, and the countless lives you continue to inspire.
