The Museum of Science Fiction & Fantasy Arts

09/18/2026

We’re still recovering from a wonderful weekend at Philadelphia RetroCon, a convention celebrating the movies, television shows, toys, and characters that have shaped popular culture. This was the Museum of Science Fiction and Fantasy Arts’ first convention appearance, and we could not have asked for a better experience.

The Knight Rider Historians, who preserve the history, vehicles, and artifacts of the television series, have supported the museum from the beginning. Joe and AJ invited us to join them at RetroCon and shared our page with their audience, introducing MoSFA to many new followers. We had heard about their restoration of the FLAG Mobile Unit, KITT’s mobile headquarters in the original series, but seeing it in person was something else. We’ll have more to share about that soon!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our display and shared your memories with us. Hearing about your connections to these props and the productions in which they appeared reminded us why preserving and sharing popular culture matters.

Our thanks to the Knight Rider Historians Official 🔵, the RetroCon organizers, and everyone who made our first major show such a memorable experience. We can’t wait to do it again!

A huge thank you to State Representative Nick Santucci for helping secure $150,000 in state capital funding for the Trumbull County Museum of Science Fiction & Fantasy Arts.

We also thank Ohio House Speaker Matt Huffman and House Finance Chairman Brian Stewart for recognizing the value of investing in our museum and in Trumbull County.

This support will help us preserve, celebrate, and share the incredible legacy of science fiction and fantasy arts right here in Warren. We are grateful for the confidence and investment in our mission and our community.

Thank you to everyone who came out for our Blade Runner event on July 19! We appreciate everyone who spent the afternoon with us exploring the displays and watching the classic film.

We enjoyed talking with so many of you about Blade Runner, science fiction and fantasy, and the iconic Modern Props artifacts.

The enthusiasm for both the museum and the screening was clear, and we’re grateful to everyone who joined us, asked questions, and shared their thoughts.

And a special thanks to Modern Methods Brewing Companyand the The Darlene Lounge for hosting us!
