There’s something new to discover at the Ward-Thomas House!
The third bedroom has been cleaned and beautifully staged, offering visitors another glimpse into what everyday life might have looked like more than a century ago.
Among the newest additions is clothing once worn by Nellie Mullins Cassidy, a Niles resident in the early 1900s. The clothing was recently donated by her granddaughter, allowing a small, personal piece of Nellie’s life to become part of the story told within the Ward-Thomas House.
It’s one thing to read about the people who lived here generations ago—it’s another to stand in a room surrounded by the things they actually wore, used, and lived with.
Come see what’s new and experience a little piece of local history brought to life.
