LRJF brings renowned poets to Vero Beach every year.

When Coloradan poet, Lisa Zimmerman, visited us a few years ago, her trip coincided with Hurricane Nicole. Fingers crossed no November hurricanes find us this year! While we hold our breath on that, please enjoy Lisa's poetic take on her experience. Link in comments to this poem on Vox Populi, where you can find more poems by Lisa — and thousands of other poets!
