Oh what a night!
Carol Meagher, Executive Director of the KidZone Museum for the past 23 years, was honored with the Lifetime Community Service Achievement Award from the Truckee Chamber of Commerce! Carol has poured her passion, vision & heart into creating a space where children & families can learn, play & connect.
We've been so lucky to have had this fearless leader at the helm, & look forward to bringing her dream of a NEW KidZone Museum to life next year.

KidZone is heartbroken by the passing of our beloved, long-time volunteer, Jerry Johnsen, AKA Grandpa Jerry. It's not an exaggeration to say that KidZone would not be the KidZone we all know and love without Grandpa Jerry. If he couldn't make it, make it better, or fix it, then it couldn't be done.
He was kind, creative, smart, giving, responsible and just an outstanding human. We'll miss him. ❤

Jerry Johnsen has been a KidZone volunteer for over a decade. He finds solace in creating structures for its exhibits, while also bonding with his grandson.
