AUGUST 2, 2026 FROM 1-3 FOR SLOT CAR RACING.

15 minute time limit if there is a big crowd.

4 lanes, 100 feet of track and very fast.

No charge for this racing event.

Race our 1/32 scale Hendrix NASCAR Camaros or bring your own 1/32 or 1/24 scale slot cars.

The ho train layout will not be in operation and the art gallery is not ready for exhibit.

Always like to find and try new products. Thought I’d try “The Army Painter Warpaints” air colors. Ready thinned for airbrushing. Hard to find a true color for McLaren orange, but this “Incursion Orange” is very close. I purchased this at The Hobby Shop in Dayton. Give it a try. See pic of real M8D for comparison.

Speedshot and Uncle Gene's Hobby Museum are looking at possibly moving operations to a larger space in Troy.

A first floor warehouse type of location in the 75' by 25' would be ideal.

We would like to expand the current slot car track, add a slot car drag strip and build an ho slot car track.

The ho train layout is fine as is.

Anybody know what is in the old Roland's Furniture Store on Michigan Avenue in Troy?

Here is a scan from a slide taken by Uncle Bill Woolery from 1962 at the depot in Troy of The Cincinnatian as it makes a stop for the family to board to Defiance, Ohio.

We will be running The Cincinnatian on the ho scale layout later this summer in The Stouder Center along with numerous other trains.
