Uncle Gene’s Hobby Museum was started with the sole purpose of promoting the hobbies some of us grew up with in the 60's:

1-Building plastic model kits

2-Racing slot cars

3-Running model trains

We want to reach the younger generation in order to keep the above mentioned hobbies alive and well for years to come.

Visitors to the museum are impressed with the operating slot car track, plastic model kits that are on display and the ho train layout.

Our hope is to inspire young and old to start building and running things as opposed to hanging out on computers, pads or cellphones and stagnating their minds.

Our next open session will be on the last Sunday of November, Thanksgiving weekend.

Stay tuned for updates!

Always like to find and try new products. Thought I’d try “The Army Painter Warpaints” air colors. Ready thinned for airbrushing. Hard to find a true color for McLaren orange, but this “Incursion Orange” is very close. I purchased this at The Hobby Shop in Dayton. Give it a try. See pic of real M8D for comparison.
