WACO Education Center & Air Museum The WACO Aircraft Museum is located at Historic WACO Field. (1WF)1865 South County Road 25A Troy, OH. CLOSED ON WEDNESDAYS.

Summer Hours: Open weekdays 10 am - 3 pm, and weekends noon-5. The WACO Air Museum was established at its present location in 1997. Two hangers are dedicated to the history of the WACO Factory and the employees who made it great. The visitor can take an audio tour to learn about the #1 airplane manufacturer in the 20's and 30's.

Aviation Summer Academy is off to a whirlwind start! 🚁 Campers enjoyed helicopter rides, ground school, simulator flight training, building helicopters, and hearing from an Army Black Hawk helicopter pilot. What an incredible day exploring the exciting world of rotorcraft aviation!

A huge thank-you to Higher Ground Helicopters for providing the helicopter flights and simulator training, and to all of the volunteers who make camp possible. We couldn't do it without you!

Special thanks to Brian Butko and Sue Morris for their wonderful presentation at the WACO Aviation Lecture Series last night. They are pictured in front of Miss McKeesport, a WACO 9, and one of the first airmail airplanes that we are proud to have in our collection at the WACO Air Museum. Following the presentation, Brian and Sue also took time to sign copies of their book and visit with guests.
