Tea Area Historical Society The Tea Area Historical Society (TAHS) was founded on November 16, 1999. TAHS oversees the Tea Museum located in the former Catholic Church built in 1906.

It is with great sadness that the members of the Tea Area Historical Society (TAHS) inform the community of the passing of Verlyss Jacobson. Verlyss was a long-time beloved educator who was also an advocate of TAHS and Tea's rich history. Verlyss will be greatly missed, but her influence on hundreds of students and her role as a local historian will be long remembered and cherished. TAHS sends condolences to the Jacobson family.
