Sometimes enrichment is less about action and more about finding the ultimate cozy pillow. 🍈🐾

Remy is taking a very relaxed approach to her sensory enrichment today, using her cantaloupe for maximum comfort before getting into the real fun.

Enrichment items like melons give big cats great sensory stimulation and an outlet for natural behaviors like chewing and shredding, even if she prefers a midday nap first. 🌿

Taking notes from some of the Wildlife Trail’s most playful residents! 🦦🌿

Our otters know a thing or two about enjoying the moment, staying curious, and rolling with whatever comes their way. 💙

Beyond their playful personalities, did you know otters are incredibly skilled swimmers and can even close their ears and nostrils while underwater? Their dense fur also helps keep them warm as they spend so much of their lives in the water. 🌊
