Although the First Friday Gallery Hop is a great event, most people prefer shopping at other times during the week or weekend. Come check us out!

Tallahassee fufu challenge from Halisi Africa in Railroad Square Art District !!

The rules are simple: Try the fufu and egusi stew at Halisi Africa, Jackie Bozic, Omega Kontinental, and Tally West African Food and tell Facebook & Instagram which is your favorite!

As African and African Diaspora cuisine becomes more popular in Tallahassee and nationwide, we encourage collaboration and friendly competition amongst the restaurans that represent this culture. African Americans and people of the African Diaspora want to learn about this food and the culture around it. Not only is fufu (and other african swallows) iconic, but egusi is extremely nutritious, high in protein, and versatile. Try them all as well as other things on their menus and let's educate Tallahassee on our motherland foods.
