We had a ball with Seattle Seahawks legend Jermaine Kearse! 🏈

Jermaine joined children at the Children’s Museum of Tacoma for some of our best plays, bringing plenty of energy, laughter, and Seahawks spirit to the Museum.

His visit was part of the Team of Champions, powered by Boeing in Washington, which is recognizing the Children’s Museum of Tacoma for the impact we make for children and families across our community. We’re honored to be celebrated alongside organizations making a difference, and we can’t wait to take the field for a special recognition during the Seahawks game on September 9!

Guess who stopped by to play at the Museum today? 🏈

Seattle Seahawks legend Jermaine Kearse made a special visit to the Children’s Museum of Tacoma as part of our recognition by Team of Champions, powered by Boeing!

We’re incredibly grateful to Boeing in Washington and the Seattle Seahawks for making this memorable visit possible and for celebrating the work we do for children and families in our community.

The celebration continues on September 9, when the Children’s Museum of Tacoma will be recognized by Team of Champions, powered by Boeing, at the Seahawks home opener!

Heads up, Museum visitors! The Children's Museum of Tacoma will be closed from September 1 through September 8 for Shine Week 🫧✨ Thank you to all of our friends for your patience as we make the Museum an even cleaner space to play, create, and explore!

After Shine Week, the Museum will be operating on slightly adjusted fall hours. Check out Greentrike.org/childrens-museum-of-tacoma for details 🔗

We can't wait to welcome your family back to the Museum starting September 9!

In need of some diapering supplies? 🍼🧷

We're proud to host the Monarch Diaper Bank twice a week! Families in need of supplies are invited to drop in and pick up a free 5-day supply of diapers and wipes on Thursdays between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. or Saturdays between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., and then enjoy Pay As You Will admission in the Museum!

Have some extra diapers in any size? Consider bringing them down to the front desk, and we’ll make sure that they’ll go to the families that need them! You can also visit the link in our bio to find out about other ways that you can support the Monarch Diaper Bank and help ensure that children in our community have access to clean diapers.
