This weekend I learned the technique for building lightweight concrete stuctures as a substrate for mosaic. Very exciting, fun and exhausting work. Swipe to see the stages from beginning to end. Now my cat queen bust is ready to be covered in mosaic. I highly recommend taking this class from Katherine England in her studio in Fullerton CA. She is an amazing artist and teacher.

Finished...mosaic mirror. All used & salvaged materials, except the glue and grout. I’m back, ya’all !

Lime Bikes have made it to T-Town...!!!
My husband grabbed one and rode it home. Electric scooters too. Yay Tacoma, just in time for the first day of Fall.
